Veteran NSE Investor Records Sh1.7 Billion Gain from Car & General

Veteran Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) investor Paul Wanderi Ndungu has seen the value of his investment in Car & General rise sharply following a remarkable rally in the company’s share price.

The stock has surged by about 885% over the past year, climbing from Sh26.40 to Sh285 per share.

The dramatic increase has significantly boosted the value of Ndungu’s stake in the company.

His investment, previously valued at approximately Sh170 million, is now worth an estimated Sh1.8 billion.

This represents an increase of about Sh1.7 billion in the value of his holding within a year.

The sharp rise in Car & General’s share price highlights the strong gains recorded by some counters at the NSE, with investors holding significant stakes benefiting substantially from the market rally.
