Retail chain Quickmart is slated to make its debut on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) through an offer for sale, offering investors a 50% stake in the company comprising 2 billion shares. The transaction does not involve raising new capital, representing a major liquidity event and introducing a substantial new consumer-sector equity to the Kenyan bourse.
The supermarket chain enters the public market backed by strong operational scale and financial performance, reporting full-year 2025 revenue of KES 50.4 billion and an adjusted profit after tax (PAT) of KES 1.7 billion across its network of 72 stores spanning 16 counties. Additionally, Quickmart has targeted an attractive dividend payout ratio of over 80% of PAT, positioning the stock as a high-yield retail play for local and institutional investors.
